Our Toddler Program at Kids Corner caters to the dynamic developmental stage of children ages 12 to 36 months. Our rooms serve as a lively space where our skilled educators foster the building of fundamental skills and encourage newfound self-help skills. Our experienced staff is dedicated to creating a stimulating atmosphere where toddlers can play and learn at their own pace.
As part of our toddler program, we kindly ask families to provide snacks and lunch for their children. To ensure a safe environment for all, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Having a period of rest is crucial for our students. Rest time lasts approximately two hours, with timing adjusted per each classroom’s schedule. We provide cots, and families should supply a pillow and whatever bedding they feel is appropriate.
Our teachers regularly check students throughout the day and looking for the telling signs that a child has soiled their diaper. For convenience, each toddler room has a diaper changing station in the room so the children can remain clean and healthy. We ask that families provide wipes, diapers, and any necessary creams needed.
Once a toddler turns 2 years old, and has begun to show interest in the potty at home, we collaborate with families to support potty training. Families should provide spare clothes for potential accidents. If a child is still potty training, families must provide wipes and for the center to have on hand. Toilet-trained children can use the restroom whenever needed, with a teacher always monitoring the child.
Each child has a personal cubby for their belongings. To prevent loss or theft, please avoid sending personal items like toys from home and please make sure all items are properly labeled with the child’s name.
